Independent SolidWorks Design Engineer/Draughtsman available for ‘remote’, short term projects or temporary CAD work.
If there’s anyone out there that currently has self-isolating Design/DO staff and needs a bit of support to hit a deadline or to get the last bit of CAD design or detailing work done, I’m already operating remotely, maybe I can help. I have a complete SolidWorks home office set up with a couple of Dell workstations, latest fully legit licence and paid up SW support. I’m not looking for big rates or long term work - there’s plenty of good guys out there for your bigger projects – I’m just the short term, stop gap fill in to help keep things moving for now.

Freelance/Contractor from 1978 to 1987 & through own company (S D Faulkes Ltd.) since 1987, including 25 years in Europe, Scandinavia and North America. Loads of experience – manual and CAD. Returned to UK in 2005 and have been working ‘remotely’, from own premises for the last few years. Dell desktop and mobile workstations, both running Windows 10, with SolidWorks 2016 to 2020 currently installed + SW support. Can quote fixed price (to a requirement spec.) or by the hour or day. No low standard ‘cigarette packet’ sketches - all CAD work backed by personal, practical ‘hands-on’ workshop/toolroom experience.
